HORSES, WINE & BEER TOUR 

Relax and let our host drive while you enjoy the view
and a few...

Your day will start in the homestead at Woodlands Historic
Park with a serving of scones served with your choice of coffee or tea. 
We recommend you not to overindulge at breakfast on the morning of your tour,
you'll want to save room for this delicious and generous morning tea!

After morning tea you will have time to explore the
homestead / museum before you tour of Living Legends, also within Woodlands
Historic Park.  Living Legends is home to some favourite retired champion
race horses such as Santa Ana Lane, Apache Cat, Brew, Efficient, Twilight
Payment, Redkirk Warrior (GB), Peniaphobia (IRE), Tom Melbourne, Fawkner and
Almandin.  Recent additions include Gailo Chop, Pakistan Star, Chautauqua,
Behemoth and Johnny Get Angry.  On the tour you will get to meet, pat and
feed the horses.  If you're lucky, you'll even get to watch the local
kangaroos in their natural environment.

We then head down the road to Holgate Brewery for beer
tasting and a delicious pub lunch. Holgate's is a country pub with a range of
classic beer styles, full in flavour and rich in character.  See a brewery
in action at the hotel. 

Our last stop is wine tasting at the Hanging Rock Winery
where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Macedon Ranges while sampling
the award winning wines.

* Parts of this tour take place on foot so lease make sure
to wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing and footwear.  It is
also a good idea to bring an umbrella and/or sunscreen.
